Joy Sarah Brewer is an actress based in Richmond, VA and the DMV area. Joy studied theatre at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA where she performed in several children’s theatre productions and was a company member of an improv troupe. Joy furthered her study of acting at Studio Acting Conservatory in Washington, DC where she completed a three year intensive study ranging from Greek Tragedy to Comedy. Joy switched her focus to TV and film and has since been cast in several independent films and commercials. She is best known for her role as Summer in the web sitcom “The House Sitters of LA,” and her role as Laura in an episode of “True Conviction” on the ID channel. Joy is happiest when she gets the chance to tell a story and acting affords her the opportunity to bring those stories to life which is the greatest reward for her.
